Martha Stewart: American Made

Charleston, SC, September 28, 2015 – Landrum Tables is thrilled to announce they have been chosen as a finalist in Martha Stewart’s American Made Program. The program is made up of people and communities that have turned their passion for quality craftsmanship and well-designed goods into a way of life. Charleston had 11 local businesses in consideration for the program with 7 making it as finalists this year. Landrum Tables, founded by Charleston lifetime resident Capers L. Cauthen, is proud to be in this group of local makers. Every piece of wood incorporated into Landrum Tables handmade design is reclaimed wood from all around historic Charleston.

Each design from Landrum Tables is original and carefully crafted to integrate the qualities and histories of the individual pieces of wood. Owner and founder Capers Cauthen states, “With my love of both history and the environment, recycling old wood and the memories it contains gives me a sense of pride… it is an opportunity to remember, to preserve, and to showcase our country’s natural beauty and colorful past.” American Made spotlights the maker, supports the local, and celebrates the handmade.
